Senior Technical Artist

You will work directly with our content and programmer team handling tasks ranging from DCC apps, UE4 Blueprints / Custom Tools / Effects / Materials, and Houdini. The focus of these tasks will mostly encompass procedurality. You are driven, creative, love to cooperate and passionate about game art.

  • Responsibilities 01
    • Follow best practices, development processes, and coding standards
    • Create and implement well-engineered, reliable, and maintainable tools
    • Define and maintain content and in engine pipelines
    • Creating and maintaining optimized materials and shaders
    • Collaborate with team members to develop ways to optimize workload
    • GPU Profiling and performance analysis
  • Qualifications 02
    • Has at least 5 years of experience in the industry
    • Has shipped at least one title
    • Strong python skills
    • Experience with procedural content creation and tools such as Houdini
    • Deep understanding of Unreal Engine 4
    • A good eye for quality in game art
    • A strong portfolio
    • Fluent in English

    • Can communicate in Japanese
    • Knows Blender
    • Has an interest in other disciplines, such as code or animation
    • Likes to stay on top of new technologies
  • Japanese Visa Qualifications 04
    • A bachelor's degree or 10 years of experience
