Who we are
- Our story 01
Shapefarm as a company is built upon a unique breadth of expertise working on AAA projects across the world. We’ve been around since 2010, serving as an A-Team for game studios in need of better art, audio, better tech and unique narrative ideas.
Being a Swedish company based in Tokyo, our studio philosophy draws from western development principles coupled with Japanese flair and creativity.
We intend to leverage our years of collective expertise working on AAA titles across Guerrilla Games, Square Enix and Dice amongst others, to build our own games, and take our first step towards becoming a lead studio.
- We are dedicated to 02
Building unique and immersive worlds through expert craftsmanship, and to create challenging designs that pull the rug from out under your feet.
- Our mission 03
To leverage our unique multi cultural setting to build a truly creative game studio with industry leading talent, in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
- Our values 04
Everyone will find a home within Shapefarm. We believe that diversity is strength. Our studio and teams strongly support and include LGBTQIA2S+ communities, neurodiversity, ethnicities, beliefs, dietary choices and every little thing that makes YOU special in the best way!
Our studio is driven toward a more ethical way to make video-games and we think it's important to make the world a better place. Through our diversified charity programs - including monthly donations, challenges and responsible events we push to create a more ethical workplace environment for all those at Shapefarm.
Finally, Shapefarm's core mechanism works through constant and open communication with each other. Improving work-life, creating efficient workflows and clear decision-making processes is at the core of what we do.
